I was wondering if anybody knows the meaning of our coat of arms, the reason im interested in it is that im currently studying a degree in Maori visual arts at Massey University Palmerston North. Our current assignment is based on “Poutama design or pattern”. Our shield has this design and it will help me alot if had information about it.
