My name is Mitchell James and I am trying to discover my Whakapapa. The only useful information I have recieved is that the James whanau are related to the Jose whanau. Apparantly the Jose whanau adopted the christian name James???? Im told that we are from up north and have ties to whatuwhiwhi. Ive heard of this Manuel Jose before….. can someone shed some light for me please?
